Overview Children and Church Summer Activities 1st St. George's Scouting

For more than one hundred years, a Scouting program has been offered at St. George’s. 

Presently the program has three components: 

  • Beavers (for boys and girls 5-7 years);
  • Cubs (for boys and girls 8-10 years);
  • Scouts (for boys and girls 11-13 years);

These groups meet in the Church Hall.  

At St. George’s we are very blessed to have excellent leaders who emphasize the outdoor and community aspects of the program.  To this end, the groups are vibrant and active.  It is also part of our goal to make sure that  no child is excluded because of financial need.  For more information on the Scouting program, please go to our links and click on Scouts Canada.

Here are the meeting times through the year:

  • Scouts, Tuesdays 7-9 PM
  • Beavers, Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 PM
  • Cubs, Wednesdays 6:30-8 PM
