In Holy Scripture, our Lord established the sacraments of Baptism and the Holy Communion. Sacraments are "an outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual grace" (BCP Catechism, p. 550), and these rituals and rites of passage signify our journey through life in the life and community of the Church through the ages.
At St. George's, our weekly and day-to-day worship pattern includes regular celebrations of the Holy Communion and the daily offices of Morning and Evening Prayer. At times, though, we are called upon to recognize and mark other important moments in the life of the Church.
