In spite of the return to the orange phase, let us “give thanks unto the Lord, for He is gracious; because His mercy endures forever!” (Psalm 118.1)

We have much for which to be thankful! 

Here is the latest from St. George’s 

  • Please read the first attachment from Archbishop Edwards carefully. The Rector’s Corner (the second attachment) is entitled ‘Why I will wear a mask to Church”.
  • Celebrations of the Holy Eucharist for this Thanksgiving Weekend are listed belowplease call or email the Church Office to reserve a seat. Please note that
    1. masks are mandatory except for children under two years or for those who have medical conditions.
    2. Singing the hymns will continue with masks.
    3. The maximum number of people per Service is ten.

These Services, God-willing, will be live-streamed on Vimeo and Facebook. Click on the icons in the top right hand corner of St. George’s website or visit www.stgeorgesmoncton.ca/watch

Services this weekend include:

    • Today (Saturday, 10 October) at 5:00 PM
    • Tomorrow (Sunday, 11 October) 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 5:00 PM. 
  • The Bible Studies on Tuesday evening (7:00 PM) and Wednesday morning (10:00 AM) will proceed by ZOOM.
    • If you wish to attend in person, please register by calling the Church Office (855-5209). 
  • The Vestry Meeting on Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM will also be held by ZOOM.
    • If you wish to attend in person, however, that may be arranged by calling the Church Office. 
  • The reading of The Imitation of Christ on Thursday morning (7:00 AM) will be conducted by ZOOM.
    • If you wish to attend in person, please reserve a seat by calling the Church Office.
  • If you wish to attend the Thursday morning (10:00 AM) celebration of the Holy Eucharist in person, please call the Church Office to reserve a seat. 
  • God willing, all weekday Services at St. George’s, including Morning Prayer at 8:30 AM, Evening Prayer at 5:00 PM and the Thursday Eucharist will be live-streamed.
