The Altar Guild continues to serve the church in the preparation for Holy Communion Services and changing the Altar hangings to coincide with the colours of the Church year. From this we learn how the early Church Fathers taught the story of Jesus' Life by colour.
We are a small group from the congregation who look after everything to do with the cleaning and preparation of the altar for worship purposes.
Our mission is to keep the Chancel area and the Altar Guild room clean and shining in the best way we can, giving all Glory to God for allowing us the privilege to do this most rewarding work.
