Saint George's Anglican Church

The Music Club, an After School program sponsored by St. George's in conjunction with Edith Cavell School, has just begun a 14 week pilot project on Wednesdays from 3:00-4:30 P.M. in the school's music room.

The purpose of the Music Club is threefold: 1. to provide children who wish to further their musical studies with an opportunity to do so by reading music, ear training, and choral singing. 2. to present the Christian Faith to the children as part of the program. 3. to build a relationship between St. George's Church and Edith Cavell School.

Your prayers are requested for this new venture: for the children, and for Angela Phi and Norm Dupuis, the instructors. We also give thanks for the support of Edith Cavell's staff, especially music teacher, Mrs. Louise Fyffe and Principal, Mr. Craig Hutchins.

The Willing Workers of St. George's have graciously offered to sponsor the Music Club financially, and by providing the weekly nutrition snack.

Each of the students are required to commit themselves to regular attendance, good behaviour and daily practice. May the Lord prosper this effort to His glory and for the benefit of His children.
